If you think you may have been exposed to or infected with COVID-19, please notify a Madison Fox consultant immediately so the appointment can be re-arranged.

By providing access, you are confirming that you and/or any other occupier of the property have  not been exposed to COVID-19 and are not experiencing symptoms such as high temperature, a new, continuous cough, a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.

Please read below for a series of FAQs to help answer any questions you may have about the  measures we are taking to ensure the safety of everyone involved in a property transaction.

How many people will be coming to the property?

In line with the latest Government guidelines, only one household, along with a Madison Fox consultant. Please note that sharers who are not currently living together do not count as one household.

Do I need to do anything to prepare for the appointment?

We ask that you open doors throughout the property before we come in to help ensure we are able  to move through the property with minimal surface contact. Please also open any curtains and turn on any lights where needed. In line with government guidelines, we politely request that you exit the property for the duration of the viewing. The applicants will be accompanied by our Madison Fox consultant.

Will the applicants wear PPE during the appointment?

Yes, the applicants and our team members will wear a face covering during all in-person  appointments. They will also use hand sanitiser before entering a property, and again after they  leave.

Do I need to wear PPE during the appointment?

Whilst our teams and the applicants will be wearing personal protective equipment, the use of PPE  by yourself is not a requirement. However, you are of course more than welcome to wear your own  PPE.

Will you be ensuring social distancing during the appointment?

Yes, our teams will observe social distancing throughout the appointment. We request owners or tenants to vacate the property, however if this is not possible social distancing measures will of  course be followed.
